Johnnie Raines develops television programing for broadcast and cable networks. He is also actively engaged in creating content to play across multiple screens including the digital world of smartphones, tablets and personal computers. Johnnie has particular expertise in reshaping and translating British produced programming for the American market. He blends his skills as a casting person with a strong sense of story to produce compelling sizzle reels and presentations packages.
In addition to being able to book subjects who define producer concepts, Johnnie’s production skills also include shooting, editing and packaging content for executive consideration. Johnnie’s commercial sensibilities that make him a sought after Casting Director also make him a dynamic development producer.
Johnnie is a Los Angeles native who attended Beverly Hills High School (@bhhighlights), The Fashion Institute Of Design & Merchandising (@FIDM) and The University Of Southern California (@USC), where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in International Communications from The Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism (@USCAnnenberg).
